Berna Anat, known as @HeyBerna, launched her first paid membership community. Prior to building, I advocated for a research phase within the project timeline to compare, at minimum, 2 digital community platforms: Discord and Circle. This research deck gathered user experiences, comparison of industry peers on both platforms, and feature/cost breakdowns to inform which platform would be best for her community, The app Circle was chosen and together we built, beta tested, and launched the Money Out Loud Club; converting 100 followers from @heyberna’s 100k+ Instagram community to fill first come, first serve founding paid membership spots. This community centers 1st and 2nd gen community POC experiences looking for financial accountability.
